The MACS Lab at Jeonbuk National University is looking for Master’s and PhD (Integrated) students for the Spring 2026 semester.

We welcome applications from those who wish to conduct research ranging from AI theory to practical applications and development.

Research Areas

• Medical AI (Medical Image Analysis, Diagnosis Support, Multi-modal Medical Data)
• Vision & Language based Multi-modal AI
• Generalization AI such as Domain Adaptation, Test-time Adaptation, Federated Learning
• Applied AI in Remote Sensing, Aerospace, and Contents
• AI-based Full-Stack System and Service Development
• AI + Mathematics/Optimization/Statistics-based Modeling

Qualifications

• Those who want to consistently conduct research in Master’s/PhD programs
• Those who want to systematically proceed with paper reading/implementation/experimentation/analysis
• Those who enjoy technically defining and solving real-world problems
• Those who can participate responsibly in collaboration and communication
